My recent weekend at Gallery Lake View Hotel in Khon Kaen was quite an experience! The location by Bueng Kaen Nakhon, perfect for a morning jog, wasn't as engaging as the lakefront cafes around-though there's a trendy spot, Source, just a quick stroll away for your caffeine fix. The room was spacious enough, with all the essentials: a comfy mattress, hot shower, and even a kettle, making it a solid choice for any traveler. I appreciated the 24-hour front desk and the comfortable restaurant serving delightful American breakfast options, which added to our convenience. While it didn't knock my socks off, the amenities were satisfactory, providing a pleasant blend of comfort and practicality. With my history-loving friends by my side, it served as a comfortable base for exploring Khon Kaen's vibrant surroundings.
